թափել աման յամանէ, to be decanted, poured from one vessel to another;
թափել գինւոյ, to recover from intoxication;
թափել յերկնից յերկիր, to descend from heaven;
թափել հրոյ յերկաթոյ, to strike fire, to produce sparks;
— գունոյ, to lose colour, to fade;
թափել գբոց, to be dried up, exhausted;
ի բաց թափերուք յինէն, ե՛րթ թափեաց յինէն, be off ! get out ! go away ! ծունր կրկնեսցի թափեցելումն վասն մեր, let every knee bend before the incarnate Word.
