Pokorny 1, 404 ձևական դժուարու-թիւններն ի նկատի ունենալով՝ շատ հաւանախան, բայց ո՛չ վերջնական է համարում։ Իմ տուած մեկնութեամբ բառիս այսպիսի ծագումը եթէ չի ջընջ-ւում, առնուազն Փոքր-Ասիա է փոխա-դըրւում։ Ըստ այսմ հյ. կարիճ բառի հետ կապ չունի կոր հոմանիշը, որ տե՛ս առանձին։ Իմ մեկնութիւնս ընռունում է նաև Meillet (նամակ 1930 դեկտ. 8)։
