• = Բնիկ հայ բառ, որ կրկնուած է *տասկ պարզականից, այս էլ աճած ձևն է *տաս արմատի, որ ծագում է հնխ. dək'-առմա-տից։ Հմմտ. սանս. dáçati, daçati «կծել». յն. δάϰνω, δαxεῖν «կծել, խայթել», δαϰος «կծան անասուն», δηζις «խածուածք», գոթ. tahǰan «պատռել», սանս. daštra և զնդ. dastra «շնատամ, կեռ, ճանկ», հբգ. zangar «կծող, սուր, հատու», հհիւս. tgng, անգսք. tange, հբգ. zanga, գերմ. Zange, ալբան. dane «աքցան» (իբր «կծող») ևն։ Այս բառե-րը ծագում են հնխ. denk'-«կծել» արմա-տից, որ ուզում են կապել հնխ. dək'-, dek'-«պատռել, պատառոտել» արմատին (Po-korny 1, 785 և 790, Boisacq 163)։ Հայե-րէնը գալիս է հաստատելու այս կապը, ըստ որում ձևով ծագում է dək'-արմատից, եսև նշանակութիւնն է «խածնել, կծել». այս ի-մաստի զարգացման համար հմմտ. թրք. əsərmaq «կծել, խածնել» և əsərγan «եղիճ փուշը», նաև Պլ. խածնել. «փուշը կառչիլ» (օր. փուշը փէշս խածաւ)։
