• ՆՀԲ և Հիւնք. բառիս ուղղագոյն ձևը հա-մարում են ապարահ, իսկ Տէրվիշ. Մա-սիս 1882, օգոստ'' 18 բուն ձևը դնում է ապահար։ ՆՀԲ մեկնում է «Ըստ եբր. ապարահ է անցք (եբր. [hebrew word] և արաբ. [arabic word] brh «անցնիլ»), իսկ յն. άπόῤρεω «բացահոսիլ, բղխիլ», առուիւ կամ հուռ հուռ վազել»։ Canini, Et. etym. 56 յն. ἀβροτονον «մի տեսակ բոյս, ֆրանս. aurone»։ Հիւնք. հրապարակ բառից։ Հիւբշ. 103 կարծում է որ իրանեան փո-խառութիւն է, սակայն համեմատելի ձևեր չի նշանակում։ Ուղիղ մեկնեց նախ Ա.
