• «մի տեսակ փուշ, chardon». գործածուած է Դ. թագ. ժդ. 9. «Ակքան ի Լի-բանանէ յղեաց առ եղևնափայտն... և կոխե-ցին զակքանն»։ Նոյն բառը մէկ անգամ ոքոզ հոմանիշով և մէկ անգամ էլ եկքան ձևով ունի Բ. մնաց. իե 18 «Ոքոզն որ ի Լիբանան է, յղեաց առ մայրսն... և եկեալ կոխեցին զա-մենայն զեկքան» Նորագիւտը երկու պարա-ռային էլ դնում է դժնիկ. «Դժնիկ որ Լիբա-նան լերին է, առաքեաց առ մայրսն Լիբանա-նու ... և եկին գազանքն կոխան արարին և սատակեցին զդժնիկն»։ Այս համեմատու-թիւններից հետևում է, թէ ակքան, եկքան, դժնիկ և ոքոզ հոմանիշ են։ Կիւրղ. թգ. և Վա-նակ. վրդ. մեկնելով այս բառը գրում են. «Ակքանն բանջար ինչ է... Ակքանն մանր թուփ է» ևն։ Արևմտեան գրականում՝ եկքան «փուշ, chardon» ձևի վրայ հիմնուելով կազ-մուած է եկքանիկ (թռչունը)՝ թարգմանա-բար ֆրանս. chardonneret հոմանիշից։
• = եբր. յն. և հայերէն սխալ ընթերցուած. ներից յառաջացած մի բառ է։ Ս. Գրքի եբրա-յական բնագրում 4 տեղումն էլ գրուած է [hebrew word] haxux, որի ուղղականն է [hebrew word] xuϰ «մի տեսակ հաստ և ուժեղ ուղտափուշ, char-don, լտ. notobasis syriaca L»։ Յոյն թարգ-մանութեան մէջ եբր. բառի դէմ գրուած է առաջին և երկրորդ անգամ ἀϰαν, երրորդ անգամ ἀϰχουγ (այլ ձեռ. ογος) և չորրորդ անգամ άϰχουχ (այլ ձ. αχουχ)։ Յունարէ-նում այսպիսի բառեր չկան, ոատի յայտնի է, որ եբր. haxux բառի տառադարձութիւն-ներն են։ Ուրեմն ուղիղ ձևն է αχουχ, միւս-ները այլափոխեալ։ Իրօք էլ յունարէնի մէջ կայ ἀϰανϑα «փուշ» բառը, տրի պատահա-կան նմանութիւնը թելադրել է գրիչներին αχουγ ձևը դարձնել վերջապէս ἀϰαν։ Հայ թարգմանիչը տառադարձրել է յունարէնից ա՛յն ձևերը, որ գտել է իր գործածած ձեռա-գրում. այսպէս ογος ընթերցուածը պահել է ոքոզ, իսկ միւսները ակքան, եկքան։ Սրանք յունարէնի երեք ձևերից ո՛չ մէկի հետ չեն նոյնանում. այլ ներկայացնում են նրանց խառնուրդը։ Այսպէս, ակքան կրում է երկրոր-դի առաջին մասը (αϰχ) և առաջինի երկ-րորդ մասը (αν)։ Սրանից հետևցնում եմ, որ կա՛մ յն. բառը ունէր ուրիշ երկրորդական ընթերցուածներ և յատկապէս մեր թարգման-չի գործածած ձեռագրում αϰχαν, εϰχαν ձևե-րը և կամ հայերէնը պէտք է կարդալ ակքուն, իբր յն. *αϰχουν փխ. αϰχονχ ընթերցոածե։-Աճ.
