[arabic word] yapunǰi «անձրևի և ցուրտի դէմ պաշտպանուելու յատուկ մազեղէն մի տեսակ հաստ վերարկու»։ Այս բառը շատ տարածուած է Արևելքի ժողովուրդների մէջ, բայց ո՛չ ձևով բո-լորովին նոյն է մեր եբիճաղի հետ և ոչ էլ յարմարում է «կրօնաւորի վերարկու» նշանակութեան։ Թիրեաքեան, Բազմ. 1913, 340 դնում է թրք. եաբընճաք ձե-ւով, որ աւելի յարմար է, բայց բառա-րաններում չի գտնւում. չգիտէ նաև Будaговъ, II, էջ 320։
