Վն. քար, Ագլ. քօր, Զթ. քօյ, քոր, Հճ քօլ, Սվեդ. քուր.-թրքախօս հայոց մէջ ու-նինք Ատն. քարկոծել էթմէք «քարկոծել».-նոր բառեր են քարալեխ, քարատակ, քա-րեփ, քարլաթ, քարկոխ, քարկտիկ, քար-փակ, քարքամ, քարուածք ևն։ Նորակերտ իմաստների մէջ հետաքրքրական է քարել, որ սովորաբար նշանակում է «քարէ տալա-յատակ շինել, քար շարել, քար քցել», բայց Զթ. Հճ. Մրղ. պարզապէս «քցել», մինչև անգամ «ձգել, սեղան դնել ևն». ի-մաստի նման զարգացում ցոյց է տալիս նաև թրք. hasbmak «քարեր նետել», որ քու-մուքերէնի մէջ դարձել է պարզապէս tašla mak «նետել, քցել» (տե՛ս Moxирa, Kумык-cко-pуccк. cлов. Cбор. матер. Kавк. հտ. 17)։

(սաս-տիկ կու օդայ)։ Նորագիւտ բառ, որ մեկ-նում է Գաբիկեան, Ամէն. տարեց. 1922, էջ 326 (նաև անձնական նամակ 1923 սեպտ. 21) և հանում է օդ բառից. ըստ հին բժշկու-թեան՝ այդ ցաւած տեղը օդն է որ առնում տալիտ է։ Նոյնը հաստատում է նաև բժշկա-պետ Քեչեկ (անձնական), որ յայտնում է թէ հները կարծում էին որ երակների մէջ օդ է լցուած. դրա համար էլ կոչում էին շնչե-րակ։ Ըստ Գաբիկեանի օդալ բառի հետ նոյն է գւռ. կոտտալ հոմանիշը, որի մէջ կը սահ-մանականի մասնիկն է միացած բային. հմմտ. եռալ >կեռալ։ Այս բառն է դարձեալ որ Նորայր, Բռ. ֆրանս. 445 ա գրում է օթալ, իսկ Մխ. բժշ. 142 ոթալ (սխալւում է Seidel, Մխ. հեր. § 376 որ սրբագրում է այս բառը ոստնուլ և որին համաձայն է եղել նաև Karst)։
