• -Կարմուած է *խոճ «խոզ»+կոր «ձագ» բառերից. առաջինը փոխառեալ է կովկա-ևեան լեզուներից. հմմտ. լազ. ղեջի «վա-րազ», մինգր. ղեջի «խոզ» և վրաց. ղորի «խոզ».
