Lex. 1868, էջ 16 azdā (=սնս. addhā)։ Հիւբշ. KZ 23, Arm. St. 16, Arm. Gram. 92 և ZDMO 46, 324 (թրգմ. ՀԱ 1892 354) իրարից տարբեր բառեր համարելով ազդ «լուր» և ազդ «ներզործութիւն». առաջինը դնում է իրանեանից փոխառ-եալ, իսկ երէրորդը՝ բնիկ հայ և ցե-ղակից սնս. addhā բառին։ Հիւնք աւսաղ-ից։ Աստ «ուժ» բառը մեկնել են հետև-եալ ձևերով. lusti, Zendsp. զնդ. sti բառով։ Մորթման, ZDMG 26, 528 նոյն է համարում վանեան բևեռ, isti-nini «գոյութիւն ունենալով»։ Müller. Բ. թիւ 42, էջ 180 աս «ասել, խօսք, շունչ» և տուած, որ է «տուող» բառերից։ Windischm. էջ 20 «լինել» բառից, ինչ. զնդ. astvañt «աշխարհ»։ Gosche էջ 7 նոյն կարծիքն ունի։ Կովկաս լրագիր, Տփ. 1847, թ. 15 աշտուած, այսինքն յաշտիւք պատուեալ կամ հաշտեալ։ Bötticher, Arioa 63 և Lagarde, Urqesch. Arm. 503 զնդ. astvat «գոյութիւն ունեցող»։ Մսեր Մսերեանց, Ճռաքաղ 1861, էջ 8-10 հաւաքում է մինչև այն ժամանակ եղած ստուռառա-նութիւնները, որոնցից լաւագոյնն է հա-մարում Խոսրով Անձևացու մեկնութիւ-նը՝ աստ էած. բայց աստ համարելով «հառտումն. ստեղծումն» և ո՛չ թէ «աստ, այստեղ»։ Տե՛ս նոյնպէս նոյն հեղինա-
