Urgesch. 752 խլուրդ համեմատում է հսլ. krutoruiia, լիթ. kurmis բառերի հետ։ Bugge, Etr. u. Arm. էջ 114խուլ բառից՝ -ուրդ մասնիկով։ Müller WZKM 8, 281 (հայ. թրգմ. ՀԱ 1894, 294) հա-մեմատում է պրս. [arabic word] xuld? բառի հետ, որ փոխառեալ է արաբերէնից, ինչպէս ցոյց է տալիս արամ. [syriac word] xulda «խլուրդ» բառը. Müller հարցը-
