• ծեցեալ ընդ յն. ϰότινος որ է հատ խաղողոյ կամ չամչի»։ Բայց այս բառը նշանակում է «վայրի ձիթենի». և սրա համաս ՀԲուս. § 1496 համարում է «վայրի ձիթենւոյ կուտ», իսկ ԱԲ «խմե-լու աման, գաւաթ». • ՆՀԲ առաջին իմաստով մեկնում է «որ ինչ նման է կորկոտի, մանը փշուրք, կիտուած, նիշ, սպի, կորկոտ, կորկոտի պէս պուտ պուտ». երկրորդ իմաստի համար դնում է «եբր. ֆառամ է փշրել, իսկ լտ. ֆառ՝ ցորեան կամ ըստ որում կեղևեալ՝ ձաւար և հերիսայ»։ Այսպէ-ռով՝ վերջ ի վերրջոյ կորկոտին բառը դառնում է «կորկոտ», ինչպէս ունին ՋԲ և ԱԲ. վերջինը մեկնում է կորկո-տին «մանրուք, նշան, կորկոտի պէս պուտ պուտ. 2. կարկուտ. 3. կորկոտ»։ Նորայր, Բառ. ֆրանս. էջ 615 ա դնում է «այտումն ի հիւսուածի կոպոց աչաց», նոյնը Կոյլաւ, Բառ. գերմ. 800բ «աչ-քի կոպին վրայ ուռեցք»։
