(միայն Խոր. բ. 39 ունի հոլովուած աչալրջացն, այլ ձ. աչալրջոցն, աշալրջոցն)։ Այսքան զանա-զան ձևերը բացատրելու համար պէտք է մեկնիլ հնագոյն *արշալուրջ բառից, որի յգ. հյց. հոլովն է *ընդ արշալուրջսն։ Սրա մէջ կրկին ր բաղաձայնները փոփոխակի կամ երբեմն էլ միանգամայն ընկնելով, ջ ձայ-նը յաջորդ բաղաձայնի պատճառով շ-ի վե-րածուելով և յետոյ էլ ջնջուելով, և ս արմա-տական կարծուելով ու լոյս բառի հետ շփո-թուելով՝ ձևացել են բոլոր վերի ձևերը։ *Ար-շալուրջք բառի հին նշանակութիւնն է «յետին պահ գիշերոյ՝ որում յաջորդեն նշոյլք լուսոյ առաւօտուն», իսկ արդի «aurora, արշալոյս, տճկ. շաֆախ» նշանակութիւնը յետին է։ • ՀՀԲ աշալուրջք դնում է աշել «նայիլ» և լրջանալ բայերից։ Աւետիքեան, Բա-ցատր. շար. 325 «յորում լինի աշել կամ նայիլ, կամ յորում լրջանան աչք»։ ՆՀԲ աչք և լուրթ բառերից և ո՛չ թէ «արշք կամ առաջին և լոյս»։ ՋԲ աչք և լուրջ «զուարթ» բառերից (հմմտ. աչա-լուրջք բառի տակ տուած բառատռու թիւնը. «որ ծագմամբ լուսոյն զուարճա-զուցանէ զաչս»)։ Էմին, Վահագն Վի-շապաքաղ (Изслыд. 77) զանս. amš։ «արշալոյս»։ Lagarde, Arm. Altarm. 5Ո համարում է արշա և լոյս բառերից կազմուած. արշա՝ իբրև նախաւոր վաշ-րա կամ աւշրա «երեկոյ» =լիթ. vaska-ras, հիռլ. fescor, յն. ἔ́σπερος, ւտ vesper, նոյն վաշրա-ից է դնում նաև աշուն, իբր «մութ, տխուր եղանակ»։ Նոյն, Նախալ. 103 դնում է արշա+լուրջ, որի մէջ արշա թողնում է առանց մեկ-նութեան, իսկ լուրշ՝ արմատակից է դնում լուրջ, լոյս բառերին։ Ալիշան, Հին հաւ. 145 զնդ. ուշահինա կամ օշէն «առաջին պահ աւուր»։ Հիւնք. հանում է արջ և լոյս բառերից. հին հայերը յն. λνϰαυγή։ «արշալոյս» բառի առաջին մասը λύϰη «աւգ» շփոթելով λύϰος «գայլ» բառի հետ, նրա տեղ դրել են արջ և թարգմա-Պաւտմ. ռեր. 213 առաջին և լոյս բառե-րից։ Patrubány ՀԱ 1908, 214 արշ-կը-ցում է արգել բառին։ Karst, Յուշարձան 406 սումեր. ruš, rus «փայլուն» բառի հիյր է համեմատում։ • ԳՒՌ.-Աշմուշ ձևով պահում են Չն. «լու-սանալու մօտ եղած մութը», Խն.
